Our Why
Chaplain John is our local Chaplain. He is crucial to the running of our school and always steps in to lend a hand.
Each year I've watched the struggle to raise a $15,000 shortfall in funding. Seeing the stress this placed on Chappy John has really stuck with me.
It was finding out that this shortfall is a problem across Australia was what really drove us to be part of a solution. Having since met with many Chaplains, I can see how much value they add to the schools they are involved in and how loved they are in the community.
We may not solve the whole funding problem but we will definitely be part of the solution... and with that Chaplains Reserve was born.
